SCHENECTADY -- Police are seeking clues to the suspicious disappearance of a 50-year-old Schenectady man last seen in the Silver Slipper bar in Albany.

Donald Green, who is known as "Uncle Noonie," was last seen in the late evening of Friday, Feb. 26, in the Henry Johnson Boulevard bar, Schenectady Police Sgt. Eric Clifford said Tuesday.

Schenectady and Albany police are jointly investigating the circumstances surrounding Green's disappearance, which are considered suspicious because he has never left the area before and has no history of medical or mental illness, Clifford said. Green's family has released a picture of him to the public.

"We're hoping that if anyone out there in the community has seen him or knows of a circumstance as to why he went missing, that they'll call our tips line," Clifford said. That number is 788-6566.
