4 charged after Saratoga Springs bar fight

SARATOGA SPRINGS -- Three members of a Watervliet family and a North Carolina man were arrested as a result of a bar fight early Saturday morning at the Tin and Lint bar on Caroline Street, police said.

All were charged with misdemeanors.

Police said those arrested were:

Angelo M. Blake, 24, of Wilmington, N.C., charged with third-degree assault, arraigned and taken to jail.

Robert S. Bell, 49, of Lockwood Place, Watervliet, charged with resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and harassment. He was arraigned and sent to jail.

Michele T. Bell, 48, and Andrew R. Bell, 25, both also of Lockwood Place, Watervliet, charged with obstruction of governmental administration.

They were released on bail and scheduled to appear Thursday in Saratoga City Court.

Saratoga Springs man faces drug counts

SARATOGA SPRINGS -- A 46-year-old Grand Street man was arrested on drug sale and drug possession charges Friday afternoon on Henry Street, Saratoga Springs police said.

The police department's Special Investigation Unit arrested Sylvester L. Jackson on a Saratoga County Court felony indictment charging him with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He also faces a misdemeanor drug possession charge.

He was sent to the Saratoga County Jail pending arraignment in County Court.
